The characteristic Tuscan village of Seggiano rises on the west side of the Mount Amiata, at about 90 kilometres away from the city of Grosseto.
The town stands on a slope; from here, it dominates the hills and the plains below, rich of vine and olive growings, chestnut groves, beeches and thick woods.
Numerous are the rivers that go along Seggiano.

Of particular artistic and naturalistic interest is the Garden of Daniel Spoerri, situated in few kilometres from the town.
This open-air park-museum includes sculptures of this contemporary artist(Daniel Spoerri)and a beautiful kind of vegetation.

The town area is also crossed by a network of marked and equipped paths for different sport activities, such as trekking, mountain biking , and country walking.
In this way it’s possible to take walking tours of all lengths.
The local trails intersect themselves with the network of paths that crossed the Amiata, allowing a connection with all the centres of the area.
During the winter in Seggiano skiers can take the ski-lifts to Marsiliana.
When the snow is particularly plentiful, the paths that penetrate into the woods allow pleasant excursions with cross-country skies and with snow rackets.
